This came out of today’s doodling. I’ve always liked playing fighting games because its like sophisticated rock paper scissors and of course Street Fighter is a classic. Something that always stuck with me is how obscure Guile’s sonic boom voice was in the SNES Street Fighter II. It sounded like he was saying alecboom or whatever but it sounded nothing like sonicboom! This weekend is super exiting with EVO 2012 around the corner. I still remember that shocking moment when Daigo got perfected by Poonko on live last year. Really looking for what comes out in the next few days!

I did this piece a while ago about videogames I played in pixel art style. It starts off at the top left corner of the stage with some of the earliest games I played and then goes all the way down to the newer games I played at the time. Through this piece, I realized how time consuming pixel art can be, and really made me admire some of the crazy dot artists both from the classical games as well as pixel city drawings we see today. Here’s a list of the games that is included in this piece. Hopefully you’ve played some of them :) Pong, Packman, Pokemon, Super Mario, Sonic, Bomberman, Tetris, Street Fighter, Donkey Kong, F-ZERO, Pikmin, Space Invaders, Megaman Zero, Okami, Megaman Battle Network, Megaman, Zelda, Ace Combat, Smash Brothers, Shadow Colossus, Final Fantasy V,VIII,X,XII,XIII, God of War, Star Craft, Katamari, Metal Gear Solid and more
